4 Pillars of S4Y

  • Connection

Connection is the key to a successful therapeautic experience. At S4Y, we prioritize the fostering of the client-clinician relationship through rapport-building and open communication.

  • Differentiation

As every child is unique, all of their needs are unique. At S4Y, we value the individuality of every client, and differentiation of therapeutic tasks and treatment to fit the distinct needs of your child.

  • Accommodation

Convenience and having your specific needs met are pivotal to therapeutic success. At S4Y, we ensure to satisfy your needs by making them as easy as possible to access. Whether this is through home treatment, teletherapy, or trialing different therapeutic techniques, being adaptable to our clients' and families' needs is of utmost importance.

  • Functional Communication

Functional communication is a right that should be accessible to all children. At S4Y, we work toward attainability of the most appropriate mode of communication for each individual, whether that is through verbal modes, alternative and augmentative (AAC) modes, signs, or gestures. Communication knows no bounds!

“Jaira was instrumental in our son's speech development! We appreciate the time, patience, care and attention she put into each session. He has excelled tremendously! ”

Kittrina Thompson, parent

"Jaira is a phenomenal speech and language pathologist! She built a strong relationship with our daughter and loved listening to all she had to say. Jaira's creativity by tapping into our daughter's passions and through the use of games and props had our daughter working on her speech without knowing it. Through Jaira's hard work, our daughter was dismissed from her speech IEP shortly after beginning her Kindergarten school year! We are forever grateful for 'Miss Jaira' and highly recommend her to any parent seeking assistance for their child's speech."

Joanie Gulden, parent

“Jaira was the last speech therapist my son was assigned to and stayed with her for two years. Jaira was a stable and guiding hand that truly gave my son the confidence and skill to articulate clearly. Jaira met my son where he was each step of the way. She was especially accommodating during COVID, meeting over Zoom and making the most mundane tasks fun.”

Fern Wissel, parent
